Hattie Dill Manasco

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Hattie Dill Manasco, 99, of Gadsden, who passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Pastor Wally Kinsman of Mercy Hill Church will officiate. Entombment will be at Forrest Mausoleum. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Ms. Manasco was born to Virgil and Amanda Dill January 21, 1914. She was one of six sisters and one brother, all of whom preceded her in death. She was a member of Mercy Hill Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Amanda Dill; 6 sisters; 1 brother; and granddaughter, Sherrie Ann Collier.

She is survived by her son, Irick Robert(Elizabeth) Manasco, Jr; daughter, Sharrett Ann Manasco; 4 grandsons, Robert Gregory Collier, Robert Jeffery Collier, Robert Brian Manasco, and Barry Glenn Manasco; great-grandchildren: Tegan A. Collier, Keely L. Collier, Alexis Collier, Emily Collier, Kayla Danielle Manasco, Andrew Robert Manasco, Rachel Elizabeth Manasco, Daniel Barry Manasco, and Heather Ruth Manasco.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Gregory Collier, Robert Jeffery Collier, Andrew Robert Manasco, Daniel Barry Manasco, Robert Brian Manasco, and Barry Glenn Manasco.

Special thanks to The Meadows of Rainbow City Assisted Living-Landra Gladden and Staff; Hope Hospice; her caregivers: Ellen Marenger, Lou Ellen McGruder; and all of the wonderful people at Mercy Hill Church.

The family will accept friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
