Leslie "Elise" Lackey

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00pm at Collier-Butler Chapel.

Burial will follow at Forrest Cemetery. Pastor Ric Callahan will officiate.

Collier-Butler Funeral Home & Cremation Service in charge of arrangements.

Elise loved her kids, and was always bragging about them. She prayed and encouraged them daily.

Elsie was a graduate of Southside High school and was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Doris Lackey; and sister, Denice Lackey.

Survivors include in daughter, Lesya Lackey; son, Jacob Lackey; sister, Djuna (Blake) Claunch; brother, Ben (Casey) Lackey; nephew, John Strickland; 2 nieces, Elizabeth and Mattie Lackey. Chosen brother, Joel (Teresa) Moon.

Pallbearers will be Ben Lackey, Blake Claunch, Joel Moon, John Strickland, and Clay Lackey.

Honorary Pallbearers will be co-workers at Benton Nissan of Hoover, church family, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
