Funeral service will be at 2pm Saturday, August 25 at Collier Butler Chapel for Mary M. Eubanks, age 89, of Foley, Alabama passed away on Monday August 20, 2018. Rev. Ken Casey will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.
Mrs. Eubanks was a longtime resident of Gadsden. She had earned her Masters Degree in Education, taught first grade for 47 years, was a talented artist and author, and enjoyed playing the harmonica. She had been a member of East Gadsden United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Junior Eubanks and son David Glen Eubanks.
She is survived by her granddaughter Haley E. (Maj. Kevin) McKittrick; grandson Derek B. Eubanks; great grandson Elijah McKittrick; daughter in law Belinda Ryan Eubanks; and cousins Eleanor McCullough, Melanie McCullough, Walter Burgess, and Glenn McCullough.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be to East Gadsden United Methodist Church, 201 South 8th Street, Gadsden, AL 35903.
The family would like to express the thanks to all employees of Diversacare in Foley, AL.
Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the service.
