Nancy Lou Barnes, age 77, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Mrs. Barnes received a Bachelor's Degree from Jacksonville State University. She taught middle school science for over two decades and was the FFA Advisor for Suwanee Middle School receiving several state and national awards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Barnes; mother, Mary Art Anderson; father, Thomas H. Anderson; and sisters, Suzy Mullins and Lillian Martin.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by her sons, Scott (Robin) Barnes and Mat Barnes; grandchildren, Stephanie Brown and Justin Barnes; brothers, Ernie Anderson and Randy Anderson; and sisters, Dapha Stephens, Melinda Foster, Hena Palmer, and Tommy Hart.
