Funeral service will be at 1 pm Tuesday, January 8, at Collier Butler Chapel for Nancy Sue Hill Nichols, age 80, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Saturday January 5, 2019. Rev. Darrell Brown will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.
Nancy had retired from Riverview Regional Medical Center After 30 years of service. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and DAV.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Nichols; parents F.C. and Betty Lue Bishop Hill; two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her brother and his wife Sammy and Glinda Hill of Slackland; stepdaughter Sherry Newman; and grandson Joey C. Eads of Gadsden; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Nancy requested no flowers of food and wished to have donations made to her church, Calvary Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 AM until the hour of sevice.
