Nina was born on June 17, 1941, in Childress, Texas, where she later met the love of her life, Paul Leon Miller. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Paul’s hometown of Gadsden, Alabama, where they built a life together and raised their family. Nina dedicated her life to creating a warm, loving home and caring faithfully for her husband and children.
She found joy in the simple blessings of life, especially time spent with her family. Whether through visits or long conversations on the phone, Nina treasured every moment with those she loved. Her devotion to family was evident throughout her life, from raising her children to lovingly caring for her grandchildren. Many described Nina as having a special way of making everyone feel valued, loved, and welcome.
Nina was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball, football, and basketball. She proudly supported the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons, but her greatest loyalty belonged to the Auburn Tigers, enthusiastically proclaiming “War Eagle” to the family Alabama fans regardless of which team came out victorious. Nina also had a deep love of reading and could often be found immersed in a mystery or romance novel, savoring every page.
Nina touched the lives of all who knew her. Her warmth, laughter, and unconditional love will be remembered always and deeply missed.
