Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Opal Catherine Barkley, 85, who passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013. Rev. Henry Prater will officiate. Entombment will be at Forrest Mausoleum. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Barkley was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Clarence Barkley; brothers, Elvin Gipson, Ray Gipson, and Arlen Gipson; and parents Orbie and Ruth Gipson.
She is survived by daughter, Cathey Leach, of Chelsea, son Carl Barkley, of Tony; grandchildren: Lindy Dean, Cully Dorer, Jacob Barkley, and Jessica Barkley; and brother, Bobby Glen Gipson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
