

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2017 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mr. Patrick Leo Lightsey, 70, of Hokes Bluff, who passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Rev. Joey Hanner will officiate with burial at New Hope Cemetery, Glencoe. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct. Leo worked as a Lead Lineman with Alabama Power and was a member of IBEW and Etowah County Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Julia W. Lightsey and parents, J.C. and Mary Loney Lightsey. Survivors include his children, Selita (Thomas) Callander, Michelle Rivera, Christopher Lightsey and Jeffrey Lightsey grandchildren, Haley Dayton, Tristan Lightsey, Alexis, Joshua,Chellie, Julie, Lucian, Leonitus, Temprance and Liam Rivera; brother and sisters, Kathy (Jimmy) Smith, Pat Ford and James (Jean) Lightsey; nieces and nephews, Alethea Smith, Nathan (Dawn) Smith, Brenton Smith, Jason Lightsey, Genny McDowell and Debbie Tate. Pallbearers will be Thomas Callander, Josh Johnson, Ronnie Pollard, Bobby Grimes, Allan Wagnon and Punch Haney.The family would like to extend special thanks to the Employees of Alabama Power, Members of Union #3 Baptist Church and the Staff of Beans and Greens, Ball Play. Visitation will be Monday from 12 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
