Robert David Allen, 82, of Gadsden, AL passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Collier-Butler Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Allen was a huge Alabama fan. He loved to watch football and fish. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Nora Allen; and beloved grandson, Phillip Allen Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Peggy Allen; sons, Phillip (Lesia) Allen, and Todd (Beth) Allen; daughter, Sandy (Terry) Blevins; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; brother, Billy (June) Allen; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will accept friends from noon until the hour of the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
