Chapel funeral service for Ruth Weathers Page, 90, of Gadsden, who passed away February 19, 2012, will be 12:30 Tuesday February 21, 2012 at Collier-Butler Chapel. Rev. Larry Fuhrman will officiate with burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Alexandria, AL. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.
Mrs. Page was a native of Etowah County and a resident of this county most of her life. She was a member of Gadsden First Baptist Church, a member of Tri-Wright Sunday School Class, a member of Woman’s Missionary Union, The Woman’s Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Colonial Dames. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Emma Weathers; and husband Carl Jackson Page.
Survivors include her son, Lynn (Janet) Page; granddaughters, Sally Page and Molly Page; grandson, Holt (Kelly) Page; and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Grace Anne Page.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to your favorite charity.
The family will accept friends on Tuesday from 11:30 until the time of service.
