Sharon Suzette (Susie) Carter

Susie lived in Gadsden AL all of her life and attended Glencoe High School. She most loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. One of her favorite hobbies was cooking meals to share with her family. Her second love was animals - she raised dogs and horses, loved horseback riding, fishing, and spending time at the beach.

Susie is survived by her children, Heather Shropshire, Amber (Michael) Moon, Alan (Tiffany) Hulsey, Tristen Clements, grandchildren, Tavante Shropshire, Nevaeh Shropshire, Bryan Hampton, Harper Hulsey, father Richard (Sharon) Carter and mother Joy (Rod) Henderson, sister Rhonda (Alan) Walker, brothers Allen Carter and Chris (Ailu) Carter and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Friday, June 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Collier Butler Funeral Home and she will be laid to rest at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service Friday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
