Sherry Melody Willard

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.

at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 113 Brown Avenue, Rainbow City, Alabama 35906.

The Rev. Richelle Thomson, Rev. Michael Goldsmith and Rev. Ken Casey will officiate.

Collier-Butler Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.

Background info: Mrs. Willard worked for Occupational Health Services as an X-ray technician until her retirement. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Lee, and her mother, Helen and step-father Earl Meador.

Mrs. Willard is survived by her husband W.B. “Bill” Willard; son, Zack (Katie) Willard; grandchildren, Harper and Bowen Willard; brothers, Kern (Bev) Lee and Scott (Joy) Lee; her step-mother, Peggy Lee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to her caregivers Tiffany Cowgill, April Mayben, Susan Gregerson, Teresa Hughes, Joan Reynolds, Rebecca Covington, and Tammy Shadoan.

A reception will be held at the church after the service for the family and friends.
