

Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Crosspoint Community Church for Susan Haynes Weaver, 49, Gadsden who passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015. Dr. Chuck Conley will officiate. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.
Mrs. Weaver was born March 6, 1966 in Forth Worth, Texas and was raised in Gadsden. She graduated from Gadsden High School and later graduated from Jacksonville State University with a degree in Elementary Education.
Mrs. Weaver was a member of Crosspoint Community Church. She loved her cats, Sophie, Stella and George and loved her grand dog, Belle. She had a love for the beach, animals, decorating /designing, dancing, entertaining with her friends and especially the Lord. Mrs. Weaver loved others more than herself.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Gilbert Haynes and Eleanor Works Haynes and her father-in-law, Edward Benny Weaver, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Weaver, whom she married June 14, 1986; her sons, Ben Weaver, and Dan Weaver; mother-in-law, Marie Weaver; brother and sister-in-law, Marc and Penny Walley; nieces, Adrienne and Madison Walley; chosen daughter, Chasity Richards; her birth mother, Sandra Wilson; and brother, Greg Harris.
Pallbearers will be Randy Brock, Phillip Carr, Phillip Cochran, Chris Culp, Bob Guyton and Tony Snow.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Crosspoint Community Church.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Jason and Mrs. Angela Junkins, Dr. Elquis Castillo and Ashley Hullett.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Crosspoint Community Church.
