Toni Renne Ball

Funeral services for Toni Renne Ball, 60, of Gadsden who passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Collier-Butler Chapel. Martha Hardman Root will officiate with burial to follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends at Collier-Butler Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:30-12:30 p.m.

Toni was taken up in the loving arms of her heavenly Father on Monday, March 25, 2013, where she will be forever in his arms. Toni will always be remembered as an extraordinary person who was full of love and kindness. She was a loving Christian and had great faith. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, talking to her sisters on the phone for hours, taking naps, reading Dean Koontz books, also the hundreds of books that were passed down from her sisters Nancy and Myra, being with her family, reading her Bible and devotionals every morning with her cat Frisky, who was 6 weeks when we got him and now he is 21 years old.

Toni touched the lives of many people with her smile, generosity, easy nature, charm, and kindness while being able to maintain her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Her departure will leave a void in the lives of all that knew her. We know that her radiant soul will be shining down upon us all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Dimple Ball; sister, Terry Ball Argo Green; brothers, Jack Ball and Joe Ball; brother-in-law, Jimmy Higdon; son-in-law David Joshua Musso; nephew, Troy “Butch” Higdon; and great-nephew, Bryan Higdon.

She is survived by her daughter, Emily Musso; son, Jesse Ball; 5 grandchildren, Keegan Ball, Emma Ball, Ava Ball, Max Ball, Olivia Ball; sisters, Earlene Higdon, Nancy Usry, Myra Yates, Jaye Ball Ellis, Carol Ball, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made in honor of Toni Ball at the Humane Society or the American Brain Tumor Association.
