Wanda G Jenkins

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Wanda Garren Jenkins, who passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2012. Rev. David Bankson will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Jenkins was a longtime active member of Slackland Baptist Church and retired from the Gaston School lunchroom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H.O. and Edna Garren.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Jenkins, Jr.; daughter, Pam (Kenny) Lauyans; son, David (Kelli) Jenkins; granddaughters: Ashleigh Jenkins, and Hannah Jenkins; sister, Sherry Matthews; nephews, Roy Adcox, and Philip Adcox; special friend, Faye Ozment; and many cousins.

Pallbearers will be Edwin Usry, Charles Davis, James Glenn, Tony Hill, Joe Hester, and Todd Ozment.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Slackand Baptist Church, 75 County Rd 20, Leesburg, AL 35983.

The family will accept friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 prior to the service.
