WIlliam Dennis Rich

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for William Dennis Rich, 59, of Southside, who passed away Monday, January 21, 2013. Dr. Scott Harris and Rev. Bob Thornton will officiate. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mr. Rich was a lifelong resident of Etowah County and a graduate of Southside High School. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He loved farming and Alabama Football. He was an outdoorsman and loved animals. He was a loving husband and father. Dennis was a very caring and loving man who loved helping people.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Clyde Rich.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Rich; daughters: Brittney Rich, and Carly Rich; mother, Eyvonne Rich; sister, Carol (Mike) Wilcutt; nephew, Dr. Barry (Tracey) Dale; and nieces: Tammy (Nathan) Patterson, Melissa (Matt) Davis, and Michelle (Thomas) Hunt.

Pallbearers will be: Tommy Sewell, Randy Scott, Barry Dale, Nathan Patterson, Thomas Hunt, and Matt Davis.

Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013, prior to the service.
