Alice Faye McFarland

Alice was a devoted homemaker who found joy in caring for her family and spending time in the kitchen. She loved to cook, can foods, and to garden. She was especially known for her chicken and dumplings, baked beans, and potato salad. Whether cooking for a holiday gathering or a simple family meal, Alice’s warmth and love were always felt through her food.

She is survived by her children William (Nancy) Smith, Kathy Ramos, and Frank (Amanda) McFarland; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, with one on the way; In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Madeline and Lily; and grandchild, Samantha Faye Crawford

Visitation will be held Monday, August 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Mifflin Cemetery. A celebration of life will immediately follow the burial at Massey's Pizza in Gahanna.
