Amanda Brinson, 42, of Grove City, passed from this earth into the arms of her Lord on September 17, 2022 after a brave, courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 14, 1980 to Phillip and Karen Crum. She was raised in Gahanna and Blacklick, graduating from Lincoln High School class of 1998.
Amanda was an amazing, dedicated, proud mother to Devon. She provided him a full life of education and adventure, supporting him in various activities and extracurriculars. They often traveled together to multiple locations, making treasured, beautiful memories. Amanda had an energetic, playful spirit making everyone around her smile. She enjoyed spending time in nature, especially travelling to new places. She was an avid beach lover, so it comes as no surprise that Hawaii and Coronado Island, in San Diego were two of her favorite destinations.
In June 2018 she was able to have the wedding of her dreams on Great Exuma Island, Bahamas, marrying the love of her life Marcus. He too shares her love for travel and they were able to experience wonderful excursions together. They enjoyed watching basketball and football together, even attending some events in person. Marcus provided her the love and stability she had always longed for. She will always hold a special place in his heart.
As of this month Amanda celebrated 25 years of committed employment with Alliance Data, most recently in her management role. She was a highly valued member of her team and brought an incredible level of knowledge and experience. Amanda will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, compassion and deep love for the Lord.
Amanda will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Marcus Brinson; son Devon (Ellie) Washington; father Phillip Crum; mother Karen Crum; sister Amy (Michael) Laws; niece and nephew Autumn and Mikey Laws; grandmother, Rose Clark; and many other family members and close friends.
