Andrew Eastwood

Born to Peter and Barbara (née Boa) Eastwood in East London, South Africa, he spent his formative years creating extraordinary memories in Perth, Western Australia before the family settled permanently in the United States. A 1983 graduate from Upper Arlington High School, he received a BSBA in Computer & Information Science from The Ohio State University and led a successful career in the field of Information Technology.

A loyal friend and caring mentor, Andrew was known for his thoughtful nature, generous heart, and inquisitive mind. He was an avid fisherman, a lifelong fan of Liverpool FC, and skilled at many crafts including programming, fixing cars, baking bread, and drawing. He cherished his free time spent with loved ones on the water in South Carolina and spoiling his beloved dog, Chloe.

Andrew was a devoted husband to Cybil and loving father to Jonathan and Vanessa. He is survived by his mother, Barbara, brothers Steven (Betsey) and David, in-laws Tim, Karen, Joe (Hilary) and Tom Egert, and fourteen nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Peter.

A funeral service for Andrew will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230, followed by a visitation from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
