

Constance “Colleen” Cooley, age 88 of Blacklick and formally of Sun City Center, Florida, peacefully passed away on July 5, 2024. She was born December 25, 1935 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. A daughter to the late Alfred and Jane (Lidell) Corbett. In addition to her parents, Colleen is preceded in passing by her husband Jerry Cooley; daughter, Susan (Mark) McQueen; son in law, Danny Smith; first husband Jim Milburn; grandson, Ross McQueen.
Best known for her unending sense of humor and laughter. An avid sports fan, Colleen’s loyalty to The Ohio State, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay, Buccaneers, Lightning, and the Rays was unwavering. She cherished every moment spent watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in sports, cheering them on with pride and enthusiasm. She was also an unapologetic Euchre shark.
A huge Elvis Presley fan, Colleen found great pleasure in Elvis (Billy) entertainment, reveling in the nostalgia and timeless charm of his music.
Colleen dedicated 30 years of her professional life to Ohio Bell, where she built a career marked by dedication and hard work. After retiring, she moved to Florida, where she resided for 32 years, embracing the sunshine and warmth of the community and friends.
Colleen is survived by her loving daughter, Linda (Chris) Imwalle; grandchildren, Chad (Laura) Smith, Travis (Adria) Smith, Josh (Heather) Smith, Ryan (Greg) McQueen, Rachel McQueen, Riley (Amy) McQueen, Rhett (Stacey) McQueen; great grandchildren, Mason, Alaina, Amelia, Sawyer, Hensley, Gregory, Matthew, Matthew, Nicholas, Haley, Brooke, Mark, Emma, and Jane.
Colleen’s spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her laughter, love for sports, and passion for Elvis will forever be remembered and cherished.
Calling hours will take place on at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. On Wednesday, July 10, from 5PM-8PM and again Thursday, July 11, from 9:30AM-10:30AM. Funeral Service will take place directly following calling hours beginning at 10:30AM on Thursday.
