Eric Neil Governor

Eric Governor, 65, passed away on December 11, 2025, in Gahanna, Ohio. Born on March 5, 1960, in Warren, Ohio, he spent the majority of his life in Columbus, where he became a well-known and respected member of the community.

A graduate of Northland High School, Eric built a life rooted in hard work and dedication. He was the proud owner of a snow and ice removal business, through which he served his community with reliability and care. His work ethic and commitment to helping others were hallmarks of his character.

Eric was known for his generous heart and deep compassion for those around him. Whether through his business or personal relationships, he consistently showed kindness and concern for others. His warmth and loyalty earned him the love and respect of many friends throughout his life.

He is survived by his sister Donna Governor, her husband Larry Morris, and his close friends Michael Kundla and Jeff Voigt. Eric was preceded in death by his father Richard Neil Governor, mother Joyce Creighton Governor, and sister Debbie Governor Woods.

A remembrance for Eric will be held in the spring as new life emerges. Eric’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his legacy of generosity and care continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
