Born to Loyal Patrick Linehan and Amy Daun (Coonrod) Linehan on February 8, 1936, she attended Clyde high school, where she played the baritone horn in marching band and the violin in the school orchestra. She went on to nursing school at St. Vincent School of Nursing in Toledo, OH, graduating as an RN.
After working at Bellevue Hospital and Mount Carmel West, she worked at Western Electric, where she met her future husband. After the birth of the first of their two children, she changed careers to be a stay at home mom devoting her life to her husband and children.
She loved her Catholic faith, with a strong devotion to our blessed Mother, daily attending Mass and praying the rosary. Her love of life, her joyous laughter, her beautiful smile, and her love of family and friends will forever remain in our memory.
Faye is survived by her children, Carol (Mark) Clark, James (Janet) Mullen, grandchild Claire Mullen, her brother John (Rita) Linehan, sister-in-law, Mary Linehan, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband James, her sister Patricia Silleck, her brothers, Timothy Linehan and Joseph Linehan, sister-in-law Kathleen Linehan.
Visitation is planned for April 23, from 4–7 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, Ohio. A Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 807 Havens Corners Rd. on April 24, 10:30 AM with Father Ted Sill officiating.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers and administrators at Story Point Gahanna North and Mount Carmel East for the loving care they showed to Faye.
