I just found out today that Forest past away . He was an unforgettable man and I truly cherished his friendship. I have so many memories of him, Mike Korbel and myself playing softball, hunting, playing golf and just hanging out. I talk about him all the time. He always made me smile and I never saw him angry but his smile was contagious. Miss talking to him and regret our paths didn’t cross more often. I think about him often and always with great memories of his kindness and wish I had told him how much his friendship and grace towards others has helped me in my life. Sorry for you and your families loss. I can hardly believe it’s been over fifty years ago that we became friends. Life goes by so quickly. Hope you’re doing ok. Fond memories of you and your parents too.

Sorry to hear of Forrest' passing. Was unable to attend Funeral service. Enjoyed playing softball with Forrest and seeing him occasionally at church services. He was a good man and friend.

I wasn’t able to attend services for Forest. Just wanted to share  a moment with the family. My relationship with him was through softball. Forest was a great softball player but a greater person. I can’t. Ever remember him being in a bad mood. I am glad to call him my friend and my teammate. Once again I am so sorry for the loss to his family.

The home inspection community has lost a great friend, advocate and teacher in Mr Forrest Lines.  We thank him for his leadership and kindness.  
Always remembering his smile and sense of humor, we offer condolences to the family and close friends that will miss him dearly.

Forrest was just simply the kindest most humble person. From the time he was my Gahanna Little League Football Coach, to seeing him crush those homer’s on the softball field, I always had so much respect and admiration for him.  The Gahanna community has lost a great man.

In little league baseball Forest not smacked the ball over the home fence but also tagged numerous cars behind the fence and tagged the Dairy Queen several times

Most people I have known can be recognized as fitting into one of many categories of person.    That is not a criticism.   It is just a short cut for arranging the world I live in.   Forrest is an exception in that he occupied a category of his own that seemed to gracefully blend a wide range of orientations.

We all loved Forrest at the bank, he was a gentle giant, and so soft spoken, and we will miss his smiling face, the entire family is in our hearts and prayers.

I was blessed when Forrest took me under his wing many years ago and taught me so much about the mechanics of residential homes and inspections when I was a new agent to real estate.  Not only did I learn so much but gained a loyal friend I always looked forward to seeing and knew I could count on anytime with an answer to a question.  So many good memories in sometimes comical situations with clients.  Blessed to do much business with him and his partners.  Always so ethical and kind.. Truly made the world a better place. Fly high my friend.  Prayers for family and friends during a very sad time.
