
George Paul Miller, Jr., 75, of Upper Arlington, Ohio, passed away at Riverside Methodist Medical Center on Friday, December 19, 2025. George was born in Columbus, Ohio, on March 7, 1950, to the late George P. Miller, Sr., and Mabel (Poth) Miller.
George was a 1968 graduate of Upper Arlington High School, where he played saxophone in the marching band. After graduation, George attended Otterbein College, receiving a BA in Chemistry in 1972. He was also a member of the Cardinal Marching Band, College Senate, Phi Eta Sigma, and Sigma Zeta. He then attended The Ohio State University, receiving an MBA in Logistics and Marketing in 1976.
During his career, George worked for various corporations as a consultant in logistics and marketing. George was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes football fan and enjoyed attending home football games. He also loved antique cars and always looked forward to attending the Greenfield Village Motor Muster in Dearborn, Michigan.
In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his aunt Alberta (Poth) and uncle Raymond Miller, aunt Marvene Poth, aunt Doris Poth, uncle Harry (Ruth) Poth, and cousin Marilyn Miller.
George is survived by his cousins, David (LuAnn) Miller, Kathie Miller, Linda Miller, Charles Poth, and Greg Poth.
Visitation will be held at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230, on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. George's funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, beginning at 11:00am. Pastor Mike Weaver, officiating. Services will conclude with interment at Mifflin Township Cemetery in Gahanna.
George’s family wishes to give a special thank you to Jim and Sharon Roshon and Mike and Jaynee Ziegler for their years of friendship with George and their support during his extended illness. Family also wishes to express their thanks to Violet Springs and George’s caregivers, Josie and Chris.
