James J. Shea Jr., age 80 of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on April 26, 2025. He was born October 22, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois. A son to the late James and Eileen Shea. James is survived by his brother John (Carol) Shea and sister Maureen (Joe) Broman.
James married the love of his life, the late Kathryn (Candy) Shea in 1968. James served in the Army Illinois National Guard, attended Community College and worked for over 40 years in the accounting field. He is survived by his loving children, Michael (Robyn) Shea, and Brian (Christina) Shea and two dogs Astro and Maverick.
A proud grandfather of five grandchildren: Hailey (Jacob) Hall, Hannah, Holden, Mia, and Beckett Shea. Along with two great-granddaughters Reagan and Kennedy, as well as looking forward to his third great-granddaughter Lincoln.
