Joshua Aaron Ciotti was born December 21, 1984, in Somers Point, NJ to Keith Ciotti and Sherri (Morgan) Clark. It is with profound grief and deep sorrow to announce his transition to heaven to be with our maker. He passed away at home with God’s peace and love within him and surrounding him on September 8, 2024. He was 39 years old.
Josh lived an active and busy life that he loved but God had another plan for him. The past 3 years were some of the most difficult health struggles but also some of the most meaningful and uplifting times. Josh beat cancer, survived 3 strokes, blood clots and many other rare health issues. He was such a fighter but when God spoke to him, He said he was coming home. Josh understood, accepted and let the Lord take him home.
Just before his health issues began, Josh was saved and became a Christian at Jersey church. Josh and his family became members at Jersey. His relationship with God was strong and at the center of his marriage with Amy.
Josh lived a tremendous life and had an impact on each and every person he met. He cared deeply for friends and family but his greatest joy and accomplishment was being a father to Noah. He would go without to make sure his loved ones had what they needed. Some of Josh’s passions included: Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles. Cars, food/cooking, hunting, fishing, music, working out and most of all watching Noah, his son, play sports.
Josh was a hard working man and always wanted to better himself. He loved gaining as much knowledge as possible and had an impeccable memory. Dominating in Jeopardy was a regular evening event. He loved hard and his generous heart, unwavering love and contagious personality will be deeply missed and ALWAYS remembered.
Joshua is survived by his wife Amy (Bardelang), and son, Noah Ciotti. Parents Keith Ciotti and Sherri (Morgan) Clark. Brothers, Ryan and Blake. Sisters, Priscilla, Abby, Summer, Dakota and Hannah. Grandfather Raymond Priest, Sr. , (preceded in death by grandmother, Sharon Priest), Uncle Mona, Aunt Staci, Aunt Jenny and Uncle Robbie. Best friend Dan Rott and many cousins. Niece, Isabelle Ciotti and nephews Trenton Montney, Tyler Montney and Liam Bardelang. Mother in law, Deborah Bardelang, (preceded in death by father in law, William Bardelang), brothers in law, Ryan and Justin Bardelang and sister in law Tara Bardelang. And last but not least his dogs, Marley and Zeus. And the ones he is seeing in heaven, Bear and Buddy.
A visitation for Joshua will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Jersey Church, 13260 Morse Rd SW, New Albany, Ohio 43054, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
