

Karen J. Langston passed away at the age of 78 on December 4, 2025. She was born on December 7, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1965. She was the first of four children born to Charles E. Morrison and Jean E. Morrison (McKibben).
Karen was employed by General Motors/Delphi for twenty-nine years. She had various other jobs all of her life including bartending, health care provider and United Dairy Farmers.
Karen was an avid reader, loved feeding and watching the outside birds and took care of everyone around her, including her current dogs, Willie and Missy.
Karen was a lifetime member of the Auxiliary of VFW Paul S. Lawrence, Post 9857 and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Linden #2252.
Karen was a loving wife of forty-one years to Bo Langston and mother of two daughters, Kelly Ann Langston and Nicole Jean Langston, whom she loved fiercely. She was Nana to her grandchildren, Justin Langston, Austin Schmitter, Cheyenne Schmitter (father, Jeffrey Schmitter), Casen Langston, Layla Langston (Julie) and Caden Langston who were her pride and joy.
She is also survived by her stepmother, Rose Morrison, her brother Charles (Rock) and Cindy Morrison, her sisters, Melody (Sandy) and Dan Simmons and Virginia (Dee) and Doug Snyder, father-in-law, Carl Langston, sisters-in-law Sarah Langston and Tonia Langston and brother-in law, David Langston. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her tremendously.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Jean E. Morrison, grandmother, Gladys L. Morrison, mother-in-law, June Langston, sister-in-law, Deana Green, and brothers-in-law, Eddie Langston and Gary Langston.
Karen was a kind, loving person. She never met a stranger. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone. She had the biggest heart and was the most caring person anyone could meet.
Showing will be Friday, December 12, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Saturday December 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., Celebration of Life will be held after the burial at 12:30 p.m. at VFW Post 4719, 75 W. Johnstown Road, Gahanna.
