Kristina Ellen Marcum

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Peggy (Morgan) Cesner, brother Jeffrey Cesner Sr, and sister-in-law Theresa (Thea) Cesner and many other relatives and close friends.

Kristina is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Melvin “Gary” Marcum, daughter Amy Martin, beloved grandson Charles Lee Martin, brother Charles (Janet) Cesner Jr, close friends Donna McComb and Cheryl Harris along with many close relatives and friends.

A native of Columbus, Kristina graduated from Whetstone High School in 1970. Although working at a variety of places in Columbus, her favorite job was sous chef at the Sheraton Suites hotel. When her grandson was born, she spent her days with him until he started school, then kept him after school. The bond she shared with Charly was very special. She cherished all the time she had with him – he was the apple of her eye.

A memorial service will be held at Linworth Baptist Church, 6200 Linworth Rd, Worthington, OH 43085 on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kristina’s name to Linworth Baptist Church.
