Kurt graduated from Woodmore High School in 1969, then in 1973 he received his B.S. from The Ohio State University. He built a real estate business with his wife Julie and was an active member of Gahanna Rotary. He was devoted to his volunteer work through Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, especially within their Celebrate Recovery program. In addition to raising his two children Krista and Mike, he and Julie hosted numerous foster children and foreign exchange students. He leaves behind his two beloved sisters Christy and Cheri, and many nieces and nephews. He was a lover of music and will always be remembered as a jokester with a larger-than-life personality. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
The celebration of life will be held at 12:30 on Wednesday December 20th at Solomon Lutheran Church of Woodville, Ohio. The service will be broadcast on the church Facebook page for those who are unable to attend.
