Larry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam War veteran. His military service was a deep source of pride and reflected his lifelong dedication, strength, and sense of responsibility to others.
A lifelong Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Larry lived and breathed Scarlet and Gray. Game days were sacred, and his loyalty to the Buckeyes was unwavering — a true reflection of his Columbus roots and passionate spirit.
Above all else, Larry was a man of family. He always took care of everyone around him, offering support, protection, and love without ever asking for anything in return. Those who knew him would say he was truly one of the best people you could know — dependable, loyal, and kind-hearted.
Affectionately known as “Slim,” a nickname given to him by his brother Bill, Larry carried the name with humor and pride throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara Elizabeth Carlsburger and William James White; brother, William White; sisters, Collen Lambright and Norma Jean Kean. Larry is survived by his nephew, Ronald Lambright; and many other extended family members who will cherish his memory.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the funeral home. Visitation will take place from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A brief committal service will follow at Mifflin Cemetery.
