Laurie was a beloved wife, family member, and friend. She had a passion for crafting and gardening, and she found great joy in visiting the Smoky Mountains. Laurie was loved by everyone who knew her. She cherished holidays and enjoyed spending time with her family above all.
She is survived by her loving husband, James L. Walker Jr.; her brother Bernard R. Obert and his wife Dotty Obert; her nephew Joshua Obert and his wife Stacy Obert; and her great-nephew Noah Obert. Along with many loving extended family members.
Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Dona Obert; her paternal grandparents (Obert) and her maternal grandparents (Luft)
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 4:00 PM, with visitation to follow until 7:00 PM at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home (1051 E Johnstown Rd. Gahanna OH 43230)
