Linda C. Johnston

Linda was the beloved wife of Ronald W. Johnston Jr., whom she married on May 6, 1972. Together, they shared 54 years of marriage filled with love, devotion, and family. Linda was a loving mother whose greatest joy came from being present for her family and creating a warm and caring home.

Linda especially enjoyed spending her time coloring with gel pens on pages that Ron printed for her. She found happiness in the simple moments and brought warmth and kindness to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert James McAtee and Emma Ethel (Raines) McAtee; her son, James Johnston; Judith and James Sandefur; Suzanne Frissora; Joseph and Vivian Johnston; and Earnest Johnston.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald W. Johnston Jr.; her daughter, Rhonda Honaker and husband Scott; and her cherished grandchildren, Christian Johnston and Gabriel Honaker. She is also lovingly remembered by Michelle Frissora, Mary White, JoAnn Johnston, and many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched deeply.

Linda will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love for her family, and the comfort and care she gave so freely throughout her life. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Visitation will be held at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 2480 W Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43235, US, on June 6, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on June 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am. Lunch to follow provided by the Lord of Life Lutheran Church congregation.

A Committal Service will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213, US, on June 6, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
