Born on August 9, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio to Hollie Craft and Irene Lucas, she was the youngest girl with two older sisters and one younger brother. She was raised in Pataskala, Ohio and graduated from Watkins Memorial High School in 1969. She retired from Diebold and enjoyed her retirement gardening and traveling with Gary.
Linda is survived by her husband, Gary Meier, daughter Tatum (Rob Foster), sister Adrian (Roger Neece), brother Marlin Schorr and four nephews, including Matt King with whom she had a very special bond. She is preceded in death by her father Hollie Craft, mother Irene (Lucas) Eckert, sister Ilene Bennett and nephew Ron King.
Linda had a huge heart and a kind soul. She had a chosen family of ‘kids’ who called her Mama Linda that she treated as though they were her own. She loved being outside working in the yard and tending to her bluebird nest boxes. She was an amazing mother to Tatum as well as to her dogs and grand dogs. She was always there when anyone needed her and there will forever be less light in the world without her in it.
Please join in celebrating her remarkable life on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 6pm at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast in Gahanna, Ohio.
