Mark Soderlund

Mark Soderlund was born on June 28, 1951 to Laura and William Soderlund in Sacramento, California. He moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1971 and married Carol (Rose). They were married 49 years. He is preceded in death by parents and parents-in-law, and brother, Ronald.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol; daughter and son-in-law, Kristy and Christopher Hannan, son and partner, Matthew Soderlund and Meghan Roll; grandsons, Alex and William Hannan, and Jacob and Jason Soderlund; sister-in-law, Peggy Rose, and brothers-in-law, David and James Rose; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mark loved his family and was always happiest when we were all together. He enjoyed auto racing, Lake Erie, boating, fishing, ocean beaches, helping people, and Moose Lodge members. Mark also had a special appreciation for Mifflin Township firefighters.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 1pm-3pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna where a service will immediately follow at 3pm.

Following the service, everyone is invited to the Gahanna Moose Lodge, 335 W. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, for refreshments.
