Michael F. Palacky

Michael was a man of wide-ranging passions and a generous heart. He loved airplanes, classic cars, golf, and music, and he was known for his deep Christian faith and commitment to charitable giving. His kindness, enthusiasm, and steady presence will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Sharon K. Palacky (née Justice). Loving father of Tami Palacky and Kevin Palacky, Erica Atwood, Thera Evans (Drew), Natalie Berkley-Miller; grandchildren, Jamica Davis (Matt) and Ronald C. Miller Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Kistler, Tyler Kistler, Keegan Evans, Emerson Evans and Sadie Davis. Michael is further survived by his sister, Judith A. Wynne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank A. Palacky and Frances M. Palacky, and his brother, Lawrence Palacky.

Family and friends may visit Thursday, November 20th from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Mifflin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s honor to a charity of your choice.
