On May 7th, 2022, our beautiful Nicole took her last breath. In her final moments, Nicole was surrounded by her loved ones, with hands joined, following a beautiful prayer spoken by her brother, Lucas. She left us peacefully, taken by the hand by her loving Grandma Dorothy and guided into Heaven to join her Uncle Big Lou, Aunt Else, Grandpa Walter, sister Hania and dear family friend, Grace.
Nicole is survived by her parents, Barbara and Walter; husband, Dan; myself, Lucas and my wife, Erica. She was adored and loved by her family and so many wonderful friends. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.
Nicole was born on Feb 27th, 1988 in Princess Margaret hospital in Windsor, England. From birth, Nicole had a very special and unique life. Following her parents, and to our mother’s surprise, her first visit from any family friend was the very King of Jordan. The first nine years of Nicole’s life was lived out in Ascot, England. I have fond memories of sneaking over to Windsor castle with my sisters and mother to see the Queen pass by.
Nicole was creative, smart, and talented. She was a very loving and loyal person and was incredibly honest and principled. She lit up every room she entered and was loved by all who knew her.
Nicole was a devoted animal lover. She was a supporter of the local cat shelter and Nicole and Dan’s most recent family additions were two cats named Gus and Lucy. Nicole also had a great sense of design and fashion and a great sense of how things worked together. She had wonderful taste and all of her family went to her for advice relating to their wardrobes.
Nicole so enhanced our lives and left us much too early. Her family has been devastated by her loss but we feel blessed to have had her in our lives and know she will be with us always in our hearts, minds and spirit. She was kind, and gracious and will be missed deeply by all those who knew and loved her.
We will love you forever, Nicole.

In addition, my family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and patient care assistants at the OSU Wexner Medical Center. In the end, Nicole was in their care for 96 days. They left no stone unturned and because of that, we know we had far more time with her than expected. For that, we will be forever be grateful.
