Patricia Rider

Born in northern New Jersey, Patricia grew up in a very close Italian family, and carried that family centricity as she was always the heroic figure across the family of her own children, grandchildren, and multiple generations of nieces, and nephews. She also had a passion for decorating, real estate, and also worked as a professional makeup artist. She married Charles Rider in 1971, and together shared a love of travel, family, food, and most of all laughter. Anyone who knew them felt their generosity, and never left a conversation or visit without a sharp witted story, laughter in their hearts, and perhaps even a wonderfully cooked Italian meal. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a cherished friend to many who also considered her part of their family!

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Charles (2008), and sister Linda (2007). She is survived by her son George (Jeff); daughter Rita (Bryan); grandchildren Alex, Allison, and Spencer; as well as brother-in-law Robert McCaffery; nephews Bobby (Cheryl), and Brandon; and grandnieces and grandnephew Madyson, Zack, Marissa, Cassidy, Ansley.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, at New Albany United Methodist Church, 20 3rd St., New Albany, OH from 11am to 1pm. It will be followed by a brief ceremony and then procession to Glen Rest Memorial Estates for interment.
