Ronald “Ron” Ray Holly, age 77, died Tuesday, September 16, 2025. He was born August 7, 1948, to the late Leslie and Barbara Holly. In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in passing by his beloved wife of 22 years, Teresa.
Ron graduated from Columbus North High School and went straight into the Army, where he was most proud to serve his country in Vietnam. He was a crew chief on a Cobra helicopter and carried that honor with him throughout his life.
He is survived by his brother, Rick (Karen) Holly; son, David (Rosemarie); daughter, Carrie; one granddaughter; niece, Susan Holly-Blake (Dax); nephew, Ryan Holly; along with extended family and friends who will remember him with love.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m. at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, where the funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mifflin Cemetery.
