Aidan Timothy Doss, age 21, of Kimberly, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior on May 10, 2026. Born on July 3, 2004, Aidan lived a life that was full of purpose, laughter, leadership, and unwavering faith. Though his time on earth was far too short, the impact he made on everyone who knew him will last forever.
From a young age, Aidan was known for his contagious personality, competitive spirit, and love for people. He spent his childhood actively involved in MYA football, baseball, and basketball. He loved sports and teamwork, and those passions carried with him throughout his life. He also enjoyed participating in drama performances at GFBC, attending Kids Kingdom, playing Upward sports and was active in the youth program. Aidan spent many years playing travel baseball and participated in RLC at Bryan Elementary, forming friendships and memories that would remain important to him throughout his life.
Aidan graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School in 2022 and was honored as one of the 1st recipients of the Troy Ellis Foundation Scholarship. He continued his education at Huntingdon College, where he graduated in 2026 with a degree in Business Administration and dual minors in Business Leadership and Professional Communication.
While at Huntingdon, Aidan became deeply involved in campus life and left an incredible legacy of leadership and service. He proudly played football as an offensive lineman and long snapper and served as a head orientation leader, helping welcome new students with the same warmth and encouragement that defined his life. He was active in the Business Club and became a devoted member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, where he faithfully served in numerous leadership positions including Chapter Secretary, Philanthropy Chair, Vice President, Recruitment Chair, Standards Chair, Executive Committee member for two years, IFC Philanthropy Chair, and IFC Admin and Scholarship. During his time as Philanthropy Chair, the chapter completed more than 800 service hours. He also helped begin involvement with A Night to Shine and Meals on Wheels delivery through the fraternity. Aidan played a major role in building one of the fraternity’s largest recruitment classes and was admired by his peers for his servant’s heart, dedication, and ability to lead by example.
To know Aidan was to love him. He was a son, brother, grandson, friend, protector, leader, prankster, athlete, and fierce competitor. But above all else, the role he cherished most was being a Christian. His faith guided the way he loved others, served his community, and lived each day with kindness, joy, and purpose.
Aidan is survived by his loving parents, Kim and Tim Doss; his brothers, Avery and Ashton Doss; his grandmother, Sylvia Norton (“Mimi”); his aunts, Beth Reece, Sharon (Percy) Jennings, Ann Zimmerman, and Peggy (Mike) Reece; and his uncles, John (Marissa) Norton, Nelson (Marsha) Doss and David (Cathy) Doss.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Powell (“Granddaddy”) and Harold Norton (“Gramps”), his grandparents, Horace and Carol Doss (“PawPaw” and Grandmother), Judy Marston (Aunt).
Though hearts are broken by his passing, Aidan’s life was a testimony of faith, friendship, love and leadership. His smile, humor, loyalty, and servant’s heart will never be forgotten. The legacy he leaves behind will continue to inspire all who had the blessing of knowing him.
