

Allyne Mixon Roberts, affectionately known by all who loved her as "Jenny," passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at the age of 85. A resident of Hayden, Alabama, Jenny leaves behind a profound legacy of faith, love, and cherished memories.
Born in Beaverton, Alabama, to Richard Lee Mixon and Ola Weeks, Jenny was a graduate of Sulligent High School. She lived her life as a true reflection of her deep and unwavering faith. As a devoted follower of the Lord, she loved Him with all her heart, finding her greatest joy in worship and fellowship as a dedicated member of North Highland Baptist Church.
Jenny was known for her vibrant spirit and an infectious love for life. She never met an adventure she didn’t like—whether she was dancing, traveling, or setting sail on a cruise, she embraced every moment with joy and excitement. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, who were the center of her world. Her warmth, laughter, tender soul, and steadfast faith will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Lee Mixon and Ola Weeks; her first husband, Charles Daley Sr., her second husband, Walter Scott Roberts, her beloved son Charles David Daley Jr. and brothers Herman Lee Mixon, Jack Mixon, and Richard Mixon.
Her memory will be forever cherished by those she leaves behind:
sister Mary Sue Haney, granddaughter Lexi Daley Weems (Jeremy), chosen grandchild Heaven Pendley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who were touched by her kindness.
Visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama 35071, on April 15, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am, followed by A Celebration of Life Service at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel at 11:00 am.
Final Resting Place will be at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071, US.
