Unlike many of her lucky friends, I only knew Bobbie for a short time. I met her through Charles, my Gardendale HS Class of '69 classmate. She and Charles worked so hard helping us plan and carry out reunion activities. At our follow-up picnic, Bobbie was a tornado-setting up tables, arranging food, and making sure everyone had a good time. I told her to sit down and let me take a picture. She didn't want to. She said she hated taking pictures. But she was my friend and humored me. She was such a lovely person and will be greatly missed. So wish I'd had more time to spend with her. I had to include her beautiful picture. Rest in peace, my friend.
