Betty F Foshee

Betty Foshee, age 86, died peacefully on March 13, 2023. Betty leaves behind the footprints of having walked a life of Faith, Hope and Love. For over 65 years, her footprints were left alongside those of her late husband, Ronald Foshee, until the time of his passing in September 2022. Many are the lives they touched during the 58 years of their shared ministry serving as pastor and pastor’s wife for churches in Mississippi and Alabama. Betty is survived by her daughter Elaine and her husband Randall Rice; her son Alan and his wife Ann Foshee; and her daughter Lee Ann and her husband Jason Conger. Betty is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Caring for others was Betty’s special gift. She shared her special gift through many years of service as a registered nurse in addition to her calling as a pastor’s wife. A gift that allowed her to make an immeasurable impact upon anyone who spent any time getting to know her. Together, she and Ron shared the joy of God’s calling upon their lives. “Miss Betty” is truly one of the best people I have ever had the honor of knowing in my life. I will be forever grateful for the blessing of knowing her. A visitation for Betty will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Flat Rock Cemetery.
