BEVERLY JEAN VINSON CARREKER, of Mt. Olive was born July 10, 1942 and passed away August 13, 2013 at the age of 71. She was a graduate of Phillips High School, a long-time member of Beechwood Baptist Church and a member of The Club.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Pauline Vinson. She is survived by the loving husband of 53 years, Tillman Carreker, Jr.; brother, Howard Morel Vinson; sons, Gregory Tillman Carreker, Gary Allan Carreker, Keith Jordan Carreker; daughter, Lisa Rene Watson; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, nieces and a host of friends.
A visitation at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel followed by a graveside service in Elmwood Cemetery was held on August 15th.
