He is survived by wife of 53 years, Charline; daughter, Patricia Diane Naramore; Niece, Sheila Goss; nephews, Charles and Richard Maddox and a host of family and friends. The family extends special thanks to John and Evelyn Burns, Nellie Simpson, Earl Edwards and Vitas Hospice Care.
Bill was a long time member of the Gardendale First Baptist Church where he led the singing for the Welcome Sunday School class for over 11 years. Bill retired from Mayfield Manufacturing after 32 years of service and he was a Mason for over 60 years where he reached the level of 32nd degree.
A funeral service will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Tuesday, April 2nd, at 11:00 AM with a visitation from 10:00 – 11:00. Interment will follow at the Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
