Boyd Thomas Sutherland, age 88, of Mount Olive, Alabama went home to be with Jesus at his home surrounded by his wife and loved ones on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Boyd was born April 17, 1933 in Haleyville, Al. He was the son of John and I.V. Sutherland.
Boyd Sutherland is survived by his wife, Joyce Sutherland; his sister, Billie Stout (Jim); his brother, Larry Sutherland (Linda); his children, Jackie Beck, Jodie Morrow (Bobby), Judy Tidwell (Chris Stagg), Janice Taylor and Julie Cox; grandson, Jacob Taylor (Christa); great -grandsons John Taylor and Joseph Taylor.
A visitation for Boyd will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
