Carolyn Dean Mitchell, age 74, of Morris, Alabama passed away on Monday May 27, 2019. Carolyn was born March 14, 1945. Carolyn was a member of Pinson Church of Christ. She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years Perry M. Mitchell, her daughter Amanda Carole Griffin, her grandson Jesse Paul Griffin, her mother Helen Glenn and two brothers James Glenn and his wife Susie and Harold Glenn. Carolyn was preceded in death by her son Jesse Paul Mitchell, her father J.P. Glenn and her brother Ralph Glenn.
A celebration of life visitation for Carolyn will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life service will occur Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will follow at Morris City Cemetery, Morris, Alabama 35116.
