Born in Selma, AL, to the late Lacey D. and Lillie Moore Kynerd and passed away Saturday at the age of 81, a current resident of Gardendale, AL. Catherine was a 1952 graduate of the Ida V. Moffet School of Nursing at Princeton Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John William Bolt and a sister, Virginia Pauline Mangold of Atlanta, GA. She is survived by 2 brothers, Lacey D. Kynerd, Jr. of Port Charlotte, FL and George C. Kynerd (Barbara) of Huntsville, AL; brother-in-law, Vernon Bolt of California; sister, Elizabeth Ruth Kynerd of Gardendale; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A funeral service will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm with a visitation from 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
