June was a member of the Fultondale United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She loved gardening and the Atlanta Braves.
June was preceded in death by parents, Bramlett T. and Catherine Evie Black; her loving husband of 70 years, James Edward Foster; her son, James Keith Foster; one brother, John Black; three sisters, Josephine Black, Mary Heaton, and Jeanette Andrews.
June is survived by her three daughters, Dr. Catherine M. Foster, Cindy Dillard, and Cheryl Storey and her husband John; one grandson, James Oliver Dillard.
A graveside service for Catherine will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211.
