Charles Junior Bethke, age 72 of Dora, AL passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015. Mr. Bethke served his country proudly as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired with 24 years of service to Chicago Bridge and US Pipe. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mr. Bethke was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Helen Bethke; and a brother Donald Bethke. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Bethke; a son, Charles Bethke; his daughter, Kimberly B. Hendrix; a grandson, James Hendrix; brothers, Howard Bethke (Sharon) and Terry Bethke; sisters, Joan Estch (Greg), Dorothy Turk (John) and Judy Marchessault (Jim).
Services will be held on Tuesday, February 24th, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 1 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow with U.S. Air Force Military Honors in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
