Cora is survived by her husband, Willie McCaleb; two sons, Donald E. McCaleb (Deborah) and Michael D. McCaleb; two daughters Lisa Moore (David) and Linda Babb (Terry); two sisters, Nell Wheeler and Ann Carr; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and several other family members and a host of friends.
Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Ina Smith and her brother, Charles Smith.
A visitation for Cora will be held Monday, November 18, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 18, 2019 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
